|
Founded in 2006 by dance teacher and enthusiast Laurel Mizell, Dream Dancers is poised to become the most sought-after dance performance group in all of Southern Colorado. Consisting of dancers ages 13 - 21, Dream Dancers Performance Corps - Senior is an ideal place for the experienced dancer to expand her abilities and gain valuable performing skills. We also have a place for the beginning dancer ages 8 - 12 on our Junior Corps. These dancers learn many different dance styles and the skills that come along with our community performances. |

Both teams are given multiple opportunities to perform and showcase their talents in and around the Pueblo community. In our last semester we performed at the CO State Fair, The Main Event, as special guest artists at “Pueblo All Reads” Library Campaign and the Roselawn Angel Ceremony as well as others. Team members are also encouraged to stretch beyond their current “dance comfort zone” and explore new movements and dance forms all within a safe, accepting classroom environment. The dance styles we perform reflect the budding artists themselves. Currently we are focusing on ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, ballroom, character and others. Top quality dance education is paramount at Dream Dancers. All performing team members are required to take 2 technique classes weekly in addition to performance practices. This enables that dancers to build a solid dance foundation which ultimately gives them more confidence in their abilities. We invite you to learn more about Dream Dancers Performance Corps - Junior and Senior by calling the Artistic Director at 821-9214 or via email at We can’t wait to dance with YOU! |
